Using the "Expression" template from Expression Encoder 4 Pro, I see fairly complete Windows Media Services log entries ("200" response codes, multiple log entries with the same session ID) when an Apple computer is the client, but only a single log entry
(with "408" response code, many blank fields) when a Windows computer is the client. Is this a Silverlight plugin issue, or ...?
I read all the documents Jerry referenced, but I believe the root cause is a Silverlight problem on the Windows side, as Apple clients log correctly. This is preventing us from deploying Silverlight video players more widely, because we count on accurate
usage logging on Windows Media Services.
