I have a Visual Studio 2008 RTM and have installed Silverlight tools Beta 2 (released on 23rd June 2008).
While working with Silverlight Application, there are no issues. But, while closing the Visual Studio, the Visual Studio crashes and displays the following window.
I tried opening a WinForms application and closing it. It doesn't crash the application.
I also tried reinstalling the silveright_chainer. But, no help.
I guess it is some kind of problem with silvelight_chainer.exe.
Does anyone know about this behavior? Any suggestions?
Hi, check your "add or remove programs" list to see the installation size of silverlight tool for vs 2008. If it is 1.14M, you may check out this thread:
http://silverlight.net/forums/t/17500.aspx.
It's a long list, you can locate
geekpunk's solution in it.

I have the same problem. Maybe, should try to install SP1 Beta 1 for VS2008.
