I have installed VS_SilverlightTools_Alpha_Setup.exe. and Silverlight.1.1.AlphaRefresh.exe. But I couldn't make and open silverlight project in VS2008.
But it working in expression blend. Can anybody help me and give solution for this.
I am having the same problem, (see my post under my ID 'rcnam'), and asked the same question. Can someone please tell us what version (as identified in the 'about' section of help), does work.
Thanks for the information, I have a question. The Silverlight 1.1 Alpha SDK is in a zip file, how do I 'install' this? I mean what folder do I extract this to? Thanks for our help and response.
Thanks for your kind information. I am having "Microsoft Silverlight 1.1 SDK Alpha Refresh Sept 2007.zip". How to install this one there is no any setup file.

No. You don't need to install SDK. Just unzip it. You can extract any folder that you want since it's just other zip files.

What error are you getting?
Which version of VS are you using? The latest version of SL 1.1 Tool doesn't work with beta.
You should install SL 1.1 runtime, SDK and Tool for VS 2008.

I had installed latest released version of VS2008.
I am getting following error
c:\Doc..sett..\Localsetting\temp\SilverlightProject1.csproj cannot be opened.
The project type is not supported by this installation.

Hello,
Normally, we used to install the following softwares from top-bottom order.
If we faced that problem, we used to run "regsvr32.exe "%vs80comntools%\..\IDE\projectaggregator.dll"" and install this one on our machine.
In your case, you missed to install SDK so please install it. And also, please check the link above and install it if you haven't done yet.
