VS2008 is actually not a big deal for us. We would gladly upgrade to VS2010 if it meant getting RIA Services out the door sooner. Running on.NET 3.5 sp1 is a must IMHO. Anyone running on a hosted platform will need this.
Support for VS 2008 SP1 is also a must for us. We see no compelling reason to jump to VS 2010 or .NET 4.0 in the near future.
Integration with Astoria would be great. To bad EF is so horrible.

TemplateBinding is shorthand for Binding{ Mode=OneWay, RelativeSource=TemplatedParent } which is why it doesn't do TwoWay bindings.
Unfortunately, in Silverlight 2 the Binding class doesn't have a RelativeSource property like it does in WPF.

I would agree completely with Pete.
As a .NET developer I think WPF is great and I'm exited about Silverlight but I have no interest in 1.0.
