If your app detects inactivity (or reaches the end of a video or presention, etc.) your code can switch out of full-screen. Then the system scren saver will kick in as usual.

This is by design and was a frequently requested feature that we added in Silverlight 3. We don't enter the screen saver when the user chose to be in fullscreen mode.

This is a limiation/behavior of the browsers you have listed. There is nothing the plugin could do about it. You can see the same behavior without Silverlight in the picture, by using using other manufacturer's plugins in those browsers.
