I understand now, thank you for clarifying. This is the expected behavior as the Silverlight documentation is not part of the standalone MSDN library. It's a decision we could revisit in future releases of the MSDN library; your feedback will be taken into account.

Yes, it's relatively trivial to hook up F1 is the help collection is installed, and in fact we can also hook F1 up to online.

Answers to your questions:
1. Unfortunately, we did not get filtering to work for this release of Silverlight, so you cannot filter in Visual Studio but you can navigate within the Silverlight talbe of contents to stay within the Silverlight documentation set. This will be fixed in our next release.
