  • Re: Partial grid visibility ?

Sorry about that. I'm slow today. I just got what you meant. It's a great suggestion and it works as long as the application has a constant size. As soon as I start resizing the browser though it starts looking not as I like it to.
  • Re: Partial grid visibility ?

Hi, Well I tried but I think I'm not too comfortable with these since the results aren't what I expected. If I use negative margins for the contents of the columns wouldn't that leave the columns with the same size, so the content of the centre column would still take a third of the screen? Also, would these margins behave ...
  • Partial grid visibility ?

Hi all, I have a problem and I think I'm trying to solve it the wrong way. Perhaps you can provide some better ideas. Essentially I want to have a grid with 3 equally large columns, however I want the central column to display in the centre of the screen and only 10% of the left and right columns to be visible. The rest should be outside ...
  • Re: Silverlight 2.0 & Embedded HTML controls

That's exactly what I needed:) The problem is it doesn't work. I did what the post suggested and tried it. There are no errors thrown, however even though I have Windowless="True" the <div> appears under the silverlight control. Is there anything else I need to do to enable Windowless on ...
  • Re: Problem deploying site.

Hi,  I am having the same problem, but the link doesn't work anymore. Can you please tell me where it was leading to?   Thanks, Stefan
  • Silverlight 2.0 & Embedded HTML controls

Hi All,  I am looking to make use of the Blacklight's Drag Dock Panel. However, I really wanted to put several web pages in each panel. The idea is to be able to browse several pages from within the panels and retain the Drag Dock functionality, move them around, etc.  I know that natively we cannot include webpages in Silverlight. ...
  • Re: Silverlight 2 Release and WCF services

Thanks for the link. It was very helpful. For now I've opted to use a normal http service because of tight deadlines and having trouble deploying the actual WCF service but I'll definetely play with the https over the weekend. Thanks a lot for all the valuable replies.
  • Re: Silverlight 2 Release and WCF services

Thanks a lot for the reply. This makes perfect sense. It seems I'll have a bit of hard time :) I have one last question on this topic. Assuming the service is deployed somehwere under https can I still at least reference it within Visual Studio ? When I attemped to do so I get the error below and I wasn't sure if that is by design or I ...
  • Re: Silverlight 2 Release and WCF services

Thanks for the reply. The link was very useful. So if I understand correctly, if my WCF service is deployed already, there is no way to debug my application. To see if it works or not I have to deploy it under the same domain as the service?  Thanks, Stefan
  • Silverlight 2 Release and WCF services

Hi All, I was wondering with the new release if there is the functionality to consume WCF services that use bindings different from basicHttpBinding. I have a WCF service that lies within an https url and I'm not sure if I will be able to make any use of it? Thanks, Stefan
