Nevermind, I figured this one out. I am using this in DotNetNuke and found that if I didn't display any other text on the page the silverlight app wouldn't show until I moved the mouse over it.
Although this is still strange, I can work with it.

I am not sure how much more details you would like other then my previous post. I had to basically uninstall all of Visual Studio with Revo Uninstaller and install it all over again.

So I have resolved my problem with the installer looking for a different version of Visual Studio SP1 mentioned earlier in this thread.
I had to fix it the hard way.
So what I have found was that I was still unable to uninstall any part of Visual Studio without the error "The installation source for this product is unavailable...."

No, I am not a TAP customer. I just installed Visual Studio 2008 yesterday for the first time on my laptop along with install VS 2008 SP1.
