I couldn't do anything with it either until I removed the double extension. Will it allow you to rename it first (to something like default.js) first? My problems stemmed from AVG. Even after turning it off, I could do nothing with it until I renamed it.

I had this problem a strugged a bit with it. Hopefully, someone will change these file names in a future version. Even if you turn off AVG and did get it working, it would bring up this error on any client pc that visits the page. The "hidden extension" warning is pretty useful for the mainstream user. ...
