I have a late 2006 AMD Dual-Core with 3 gigs - Windows XP SP3, and also a few month old Vista SP1 laptop with the same specs.
Both of them have had S1 uninstalled before S2.
But suddenly S1 is working on my Xp computer (just noticed it on top)... weird...

Wait a minute - I'm running Silverlight 1 and I just noticed the Silverlight content running at the top of my screen (for the first time)...
What happened?

Well, have you tried it with Firefox 3 yet? On both of my computers (one XP SP3, one Vista SP1), I cannot see Silverlight 1 or 2 (Beta 2) content in Firefox 3 with the corresponding plugins installed, uninstalled, reinstalled, and the registry cleaned/unccleaned with CCleaner.

Not for me, though!
-
Mine doesn't work either (whether it's the beta or version 1)
-
Yep. It's ridiculous but true. Maybe the beta [S2B2] will work for you (didn't work for me, though).
-
Since Silverlight 1 doesn't work in Firefox 3, I tested S2B2 (Windows XP SP3 MCE) and the Silverlight content doesn't display on silverlight.net or expression studio home, even though several users in this forum (bug reporting) said it did on their XPs.
Tried CCleaner registry cleaner, uninstalling, reinstalling - no good.
Any ideas?

Am I right in saying that it is a bug with something? All I'd like to know is who's probably at fault, and I'd get their assistance.

Well... is this an incompatibility with SP3, then? Should I tell MSFT?
-
Could you be a little bit more specific?
If you mean OS, I'm running Windows XP SP3 Media Center Edition (latest updates).
