Had the same problem... (SilverLight 2, WCF Service)
Found this temporary fix...
1. Close Visual Studio 2008
2. Go to C:\WINDOWS\Microsoft.NET\Framework\v2.0.50727\Temporary ASP.NET Files
3. Delete the current working project directory/files
