I am using a simple asmx service. I created one more service in the same domain as of the Application to access the cross domain service,now its workin perfectly..

i just started to develop a Silverlight 2.0 UI for my already existing application.
This application uses asp webservice called RES_service.which has many web methods, one of them being "Authenticate" which talks to the backend database and authenticates the user.
