Hi Ian. Yep, it was a different computer at work.
I did a re-install of Silverlight and it was fine, so I guess it had got into a funny state.

The story went like this:
I deployed my silverlight application for the first time. When I tried to access the site from my development computer I got the error:

I had this same problem... managed to fix it by going into my Temporary Internet Files, finding the XAP file for my project and deleting it.
