y is it impossible to use the Entity framework in-project??
-
Hi!
I installed VS 2008 SP1 then Silverlight 2, and Entity is not supported!
Does someone have the same issue?
-
There was nuttn about integration between Silverlight and Entity-Framework.
-
omg
are you serious!?
Is this going to change in the future versions, cuz if it will, i don't touch silverlight and will wait for next release.
If it's not, please provide a few links where I can learn how to interact with the asp.net application and share the data source via a WCF (it looks insane to me).

In the other hand, in the references pane, I see all referenced to .NET 2.0.5.0 Bit I guess this is the max SL version, am I missing somtn?
-
Is this what you mean?
Or else there is something else I should check.
Note, I don't use the Beta versions, I am using VS 2008 SP1 & the above Silverlight link which doesn't seem to be Beta.

I just installed VS 2008 then the SP1.
Then I installed Microsoft® Silverlight™ 2 Tools for Visual Studio 2008 SP1 from this link.
I try to add an Entity Framework model to the Silverlight project but ouch, there ain't such a project item, look at the image bellow:
Did anyone encountered a similar issue?
Is there a workaround?
