V1.1 Alpha? V1.1 Alpha Refresh?
What version does your application need? V1.0? V1.1?
Open the "Silverlight.js" file and check in the header what version is needed.
The "silverlight.js" file is the one asking for a specific version and it is out of sync with your installed version.
Copying the appropriate new "silverlight.js" file to your project will cause the logo to disappear.

Strange Behaviour of Silverlight

Hi all,
I am using Blend to create silverlight application. But silverlight is behaving quite strange.
Can't figure out what the issue is. I have installed silverlight alpha refresh. When I browse other sites
with silverlight content I can view them without any issue. However when I try to execute my application from blend
it opens the browser and just displays the logo to download Silverlight.
Its quite strange and I am not able to find any solution.
Any pointers will be helpful

I have installed the Silverlight Alpha September Refresh version 1.1.20926.0 on my system.
However in the Silverlight.js file the version needed is 0.9.
But I think if I have a newer version the older file must work on it ??
Also, I tried to change the silverlight.js with the newer version silverlight.js
it made the logo to disappear but the application didn't worked.[8-)]
What should I try next??

Well I got it through.
Alongwith the the Silverlight.js, I changed the createsilverlight function to newer version and it worked.
