Safari on windows is still in beta and therefor is not supported, Opera is not supported in 1.0 and will not be supported in Silverlight 2.0 beta1 but is planned with beta2. On Linux Novell is developing a version for Linux as part of Moonlight project with
support from Microsoft

From where did you get the info that Opera will be supported with Beta 2 (or that there will be a beta 2?). To the best of my knowlege, nothing has been annouced or discussed on either of those topics.
I recall Scott Guthrie writing in his blog responses that Opera will be supported in the future, but he didn't specify when.

Hi Pete, you are right, I was not accurate enough. Here is Scott's post
"We are planning to support Opera and Safari on Windows in the future (they kinda work now - but we haven't done a full test pass on them for beta1). It is definitely something we are looking to-do in the future though."
I assumed from the statement that the opera support does kinda work now, and was not part of beta1 because it did not go through the full testing pass and assumed it will come in beta2
Thanks
