What is "Media experiences"

Hi everybody!

I would be glad to receive good definition of media experiences. According to Silverlight definition it is used for building media experiences. I searched in google for an adequate definition but the only I found was something like this
"the ability to add images, videos, maps, music, news, documents and books  that keeps readers engaged.

It includes interactive video and rich-media functionality(including searching, uploading, importing, editing, remixing, and sharing) and unique collaboration functionalities that allow groups of users to create and consume rich media together."

But is this the right definition for "media experiences" and where can I find more information.

I want to know if there is a good article that descibes what is "media experiences".

I mean is there common definition for "media experiences" or the article here

http://www.microsoft.com/SILVERLIGHT/overview/media/media-details.aspx  is enough to

describe media experiences in Silverlight.

My diplom work's theme is "Multimedia and RIA based on Silverlight" so I want to know more about the term "media experiences".

So any your help would be highly appreciated by me.

Thank you in advance!

Manuel

Re: What is "Media experiences"

I think the term is targeted at the enhanced experience Silverlight can provide for viewing media. Especially along the lines of video.
