Hi,
I'm developing a consumer application running CE5 on a reasonably powerful (312 MHz) single board computer of our own design. Choosing a UI that looks the part has been difficult, but Silverlight looks like it may be the way to go.
I had looked at Flashlite 2.1 but this is supported only on WM5, not CE5. Flash for PocketPC performs very poorly, even on modern mobile CPU's.
Are there any plans for a CE5 version of Silverlight? If so, when can this be expected?
Developing UI's that people want to use is not easy at the moment. A tool like this targeted for mobile devices could be very useful.

Right now Silverlight 1.0 does not run on Windows CE (any version.) We are evaluating different devices. Microsoft announced today (September 22, 2009) that Silverlight 2 will be supported on Windows Embedded CE 6.0:
