1. quit safari/ff

2. Delete the wpfe.plugin that can be found in any of the "Internet Plug-ins" folders

3. reinstall from www.microsoft.com/silverlight

(IIRC there is a plugins folder in "my mac"\Library\Internet Plug-ins", and another in \users\Library\Internet Plug-ins\)

Yep it's using managed code (Silverlight 1.1). Could you give me some instructions for re-installing it?

Are you using managed code (e.g. C#)? If you are then this looks like an installer issue (Silverlight was not installed correctly) on the Mac.

A little more detail. Apparently other Silverlight things work ok (not sure if that's 1.0 or 1.1). Here's the actual error:

Silverlight error message
ErrorCode: 2251
ErrorType: ParserError
Message: AG_E_RUNTIME_MANAGED_ACTIVATION
XamlFile: Page.xaml
Line: 12
Position: 9

Silverlight error on Mac

It runs great in IE and FF on Windows, but gives an error on Safari or FF on MacOS. Any clues what's causing it?
