I am not sure if this is what you are looking for but the telerik silverlight datagrid has the ability to export to excel, word, or csv.

It is I suppose a sharepoint question import and exporting data with excel and using silverlight
this example uses master pages(Which I realized wont work with silverlight
any help would be appreciated thanks again Please read the article and comment on excel silverlight etc

I saw a asp.net post on jgrid jquery using master pages( I know traditional master pages will not work in silverlight) and excel I wish there was something for silverlight beside html table)

will microsoft provide something more for silverlight importing to excel?
