MY Netflix experience is ruined now for I maintain multiple monitors. Why in the $#%^ in a world like we have today does Netflix ONLY have to use Silverlight. Options. Options. Give us some friggin options. Let US be the one to decide which player we want to use.

Re: Why won't video stay in full screen upon click...?

You shouldn't mark your own response as an 'answer' when it did nothing to answer my question.
It provides us a convenient way to exit the full screen mode. By default, when we double click on the video, it will exist/enter full screen mode. When one computer carries two displays, if we click on one display, the video will escape from full sceen showing on the another display. Both Flash and Silverlight will have the same behavior. I suspect it is not related with Silverlight or Flash. Thanks for your post.

Thanks for the reply J. I've read that it is done for security reasons, but I guess I don't understand why a video streaming full screen is more vulnerable than that same video streaming within a window.(because thats what happens... it goes from full screen back to a window if I click something)
I also don't understand how changing the volume or doing any simple task suddenly causes a threat simply because there is a movie streaming. I'm no dummy when it comes to computers... I've built and sold about 10 so far, but I know very little from a programming/developing point of view, so pardon my ignorance

Re: Why won't video stay in full screen upon click...?

Hi Buds4th,

I saw a similar post with no resolution, so I'm asking again.
When I run a full screen video on one monitor, it will exit full screen mode if I perform any action on the other monitor... even if it's just to turn the volume up or something. This has become very tedious.
I don't think there is a solution, but maybe if enough people complain it will get fixed. Thanks
