Future for handheld Devices

Hello Friends,

    I want to know shall SilverLight application are run on Handheld devices (Ie. PDA, Mobiles etc) . I also read that silverLight Application are run on high defination TVs. What is mean by High Defination TVs ?

    And i also want to know the why silverLight application are sandboxed or secure ?

Don't know much about the HDTV part, but Silverlight is definately coming to handheld devices:
