I have MS Visual Studio 2005 installed, and would like to install Silverlight to develop applications with it. I have tried installing Silverlight 2, but the SDK for Silverlight 2 requires VS 2008. Please can someone give me instructions, as well as what I need to successfully build and application using Silverlight and VS 2005

Hi,

Visual Studio 2005 is not recommend for silverlight 2.

For Silverlight 2 you need 2008.

With Visual Studio 2005 you can work with Silverlight 1.0.

You can use Visual Web Developer Express 2008 with the Silverlight Tools package to develop for Silverlight 2 if upgrading to Visual Studio 2008 isn't feasible.
