hi we have many many problem since 2 days, it's impossible to use silverlight web site . each time it ask for upload plug-in and installation doesn't works .always failure.

there are a big bug in the new plug-in version?

 

please help

Make sure you try it out with some of the reference sites (see showcase). A few possibilities here:

1. The site requries 1.1 and you installed 1.0. You can fix this by uninstalling 1.0 and installing 1.1. 1.1 will run 1.0 stuff, so you get the best of both.

2. The site was built against an old version of 1.1 (prior to the breaking changes in July) and was never updated. There's nothing you can do here. It is up to the developer of the Silverlight content to update their bits.

3. The developer didn't use the standard install/instantiate scripts and has a bug in their bits.

Remember, Silverlight 1.1 is still in alpha, so it is a moving target.

I assume you tried to access the website from multiple machines and multiple browsers and had the same issue each time. If so, that points to #2 or #3
