Help!i am a noob.how to run silverlight apps.

i have installed expression studio ad service pack 1 for expression blend and visual studio as well.i mde an application but while running it gives an error and cannot connect to the host.i am using microsoft windows vista.

How are u running the application through VS or Blend?  If you create a simple Silverlight application (nothing in it) and hit run...does it give you the same error?

here is the error= 

could not start due to foolowing error:system.componentmodel.win32exception:system cant find the file specified at
system.diagnostics.process.startwithshellexecutex(processstartinfo startinfo)
system.diagnostics.process.start()
system.dignostics.process.start(processstartinfo startinfo)
microsoft.expression.project.executableprojectbase.excute()

 Hi,

Did you install  VS 2008 SP1?

And  how about to re-install the  Silverlight Tools for VS 2008 SP1? To ssee if the problem still exists.

Isnt there a vista service pack for expression blend that "patches" it specifically for a vista environment ?

have you tried doing "right click > run as administrator" when loading expression blend, it could be that the account you are using cannot execute the right stuff correctly.
