I have Windows Server 2003 Enterprise Edition with "Advanced Fast Start" enabled on all of my Windows Media Services publishing points. The fast start works great for my WMP 11 client, but I'm unable to get my silverlight 2 player to take advantage of it. How do I enable "fast start" in my silverlight 2 application?
Thanks in advance!

I am also curious how to enable this or if this is supported -- either Fast Start or Advanced Fast Start. Silverlight is not doing this by default. Windows Media Player starts almost instantly on the same exact stream. Setting BufferingTime="00:00:00" on the MediaElement does *not* solve the problem.
Anyone have any ideas?
Thx.

I've been noticing this as well. In Silverlight my streams start after 4 or 5 seconds, while in WMP they start within a second.
