There are a lot of missing features and bugs in SL2 Beta 1, but we can all see the promise(and the looming death of AJAX).

However, we need to wait and see if Beta 2 delivers the things we need to meet enterprise/business requirements before we can make a better guess at the initial impact of SL.

Flash 10 is showing some surprisingly good new features(see them here).  SL is better technically, but way behind in the features required to deliver real world business applications, and unfortunately delivering pedestrian web pages won't be enough to get business accounts, better to go with WPF or WinForms on the intranet, with AJAX on the Web.

This is EXACTLY the development cycle we want to break with SL2.  If SL2 has the features, we can use SL2 for both the internal and Web.
