What's with the advertising along the bottom of the Showcase page?

Sometimes I worry about you guys... maybe it's me, but to see "Holley car insurance just $39!" inside an official Microsoft showcase website just blows my mind. Is it necessary to diminish the experience and overall quality of this otherwise incredibly inspiring and polished site with the same sort of ads I see on far, far lesser sites? This is Microsoft, right? Is it really necessary to ****** out every nook and cranny for advertising? Should I call up Steve and tell him to back off for you? Just let me know and I'll pick up the phone :)

Thanks for letting us know about this ad, Dave.  We work with the 3rd party ad networks to provide pertinent ads on the site, and sometimes fringe ads make their way through.  You should no longer see this ad on the site.

I almost feel bad about writing the original email, but I do appreciate that you not only read the postings, but take action when you see something that merits a response. Keep up the good work, and thanks for working to keep the Silverlight website be as incredible as it is.
