I found this article which details that XAML 2009 will allow us to instantiate classes that use generic types in XAML. Great. But I haven't found any discussion about control types that are generic and setting a default style for those classes. Is that going to be possible in XAML 2009? (I suppose I should ask: Is it possible now and I just can't find it using Google? That would be a really nice discovery.)

Xaml 2009 is for .NET 4.0 which is currently in beta. This feature isn't in Silverlight 3 and Microsoft has not announced anything about the next version of Silverlight.
