STG_E_FILENOTFOUND

Hi,

I have vs2008 + SP1, I installed silverlight 3 tools. When I create project VS can create project for standalone only, if I try to create ASP.NET Silverlight project, I am getting a window with "STG_E_FILENOTFOUND" error message. Did anyone go through it already successfully?

Thanks a lot!

Sorry to say it, but I would uninstall/reinstall VS 2008 if you are still stuck after a bit of troubleshooting.

Thanks, Roger...

Honestly I am not sure how installing MVC can help with creating ASP.NET project hosting silverlight, but I will surely try.

Reinstall - I know, it's always an option. Sigh...

Hi Fly2,

I guess that Goger had seen this link. Tim Heuer suggest Gred to use MVC released version since a beta version has been installed.  For your issue, the easier way is to reinatall and have a try.

Best regards,

Jonathan
