SimpleNonPersistentLicense playrights seek

Hi,

I have been unable to find the exact specifications of what play rights SimpleNonPersistentLicense really grants. I understand it is non-persistent, but does it allow pause and seek respectively? Preliminary tests indicate that yes, you can pause, but no, you can not seek. However, I am not sure if I am doing something else wrong to disallow seek. Silverlight MediaElement isn't very explicit about its errors and it leaves a lot open for guessing...

When I try to set MediaElement.Position for a WMDRM protected WMV-file, I get a AG_E_NETWORK_ERROR. And yes, the file headers allow seek.

I am supposed to turn in an evaluation report on the Silverlight PlayReady support tomorrow and this is the one outstanding question I have. If anyone knows if seek is prohibited for SimpleNonPersistentLicense, please let me know :)

Best Regards,

Martin Pikas
