E-books are subject to copyright just like paper books, so it's not legal to distribute them this way. You can buy some excelent Silverlight ebooks at:

I agree with Kelps. We need to respect authors' copyright including ebooks.
I thought there are some free SL2 ebooks though. Maybe a good starting point.
Not sure about other countries, but in the US you may want to try to borrow SL books from the public libraries. My local libraries have tons of SL2 books, SL2 ebooks, and now a few SL3 books.
