Is it technical possible to playing 2 mediaplayers simultaneous with 1 timeline ?
So you have 1 controller (play, stop, timeline, ...) but they control 2 mediaplayer with 2 streams that's playing simultaneous ... ?

as I've read you should be able to do it without problems.

Yes, that is easily done, but the caveat is that the 2 elements might not remain in perfect sync.
