Silverlight bugs..

My browser (old! IE 6.0.2900.5512 on XP 2002 sp3) kept crashing, and found it was a bug in Silverlight (v1).

AppName: iexplore.exe AppVer: 6.0.2900.5512 ModName: coreclr.dll
ModVer: 2.0.40115.0 Offset: 0015898e

So I tried to uninstal it to descover that wont because it can no longer find the installation files at:

c:\temp\ext37558\

So I thought I try and re-install the files, to find that silverlight wont install if a version is already running! Then I attempted to install version 2, to find that wont install because it was also unable to uninstall version 1.

I've come here to see if anyone has any answersl How do I get rid of silverlight?

(this forum also just gave me error: "Sorry, an error occurred, Unfortunately an error has occurred during the processing of your page request. Please accept our apologies for the inconvenience." I really havent the patients to be dealing with these MS bugs).

Can you try to use CCleaner http://www.ccleaner.com/ or win install clean-up http://support.microsoft.com/kb/290301 to uninstall SL 1?
